So, if you happen to have a game/service on EAD, and that same game/service on Origin, they're not technically separate. This is because the service is identical (since you're paying to play games for free every month, they've been kind enough, and smart enough, to retain that particular feature across both platforms). Any services you buy (such as their EA Game Pass), will carry over from one launcher to the other, regardless of which one you bought it from. So, if you happen to buy a game or service in EAD, it carries over to Origin.Ĭheck EAD for your games and services first, and then, if you cannot find them there, switch out to Origin and find your games there. This is also the case in the other direction, though, more so, than Origin to EAD. Everything you have in Origin is also in the new EA Desktop, but, they have to make sure everything carries over well. However, due to it's design, if you opt into the EA Desktop app, you're not likely to see every game that you own there, due to it being in a beta stage currently. This is meant to replace Origin, due to how slow and bloated it is from the various updates over the years. EA Desktop is the newer platform that EA is using to support games.
